Ringkasan Modul

Dalam modul ini kamu sudah belajar tiga struktur sintaksis tingkat lanjut untuk menulis dan berbicara secara lebih canggih:

  • Lesson 1: Inversion: membalik auxiliary + subjek untuk penekanan dan formalitas. Setelah adverbial negatif (Never have I ..., Rarely do we ..., Not only ... but also ..., Hardly ... when ..., No sooner ... than ...) dan dalam conditional tanpa if (Had I known ..., Should you need ...).
  • Lesson 2: Cleft Sentences: membelah kalimat untuk menyorot satu elemen. It-cleft (It was the client that ..., who untuk orang) dan what-cleft (What we need is ...), berguna untuk fokus dan mengoreksi anggapan keliru.
  • Lesson 3: Participle Clauses: meringkas dua klausa bersubjek sama menjadi satu. -ing (aktif), -ed (pasif: Faced with ...), dan perfect (Having finished ...), dengan syarat subjek sama agar terhindar dari dangling participle.
