Di akhir lesson ini, kamu bisa:

Membedakan job title (jabatan) dan role (peran) dalam bahasa Inggris.
Memperkenalkan peran dengan pola 'As a ..., I ...'.
Menyebutkan tanggung jawab dengan 'I'm responsible for + noun/-ing'.

Penjelasan (ID)

Saat memperkenalkan diri di tempat kerja, ada dua hal berbeda: job title (jabatan/nama posisi resmi) dan role (peran/apa yang sebenarnya Anda lakukan).

role	peran/tugas sehari-hari	I support the sales team.

Pola 1: Memperkenalkan peran: "As a ..., I ..."

Gunakan As a/an + jabatan, I + kata kerja untuk menjelaskan apa yang Anda lakukan dalam peran itu.

As a manager, I lead a team of eight people.
As an accountant, I check all the invoices.

Tip: gunakan a sebelum bunyi konsonan (a manager) dan an sebelum bunyi vokal (an assistant, an engineer).

Pola 2: Menyebut tanggung jawab: "I'm responsible for + noun / -ing"

- kata benda: I'm responsible for the monthly report.
- kata kerja -ing: I'm responsible for training new staff.

Jangan pakai kata kerja dasar setelah for. Tulis for training (✓), bukan ~~for train~~ (✗).
