Review: Advanced Negotiation & Diplomacy

Ringkasan Modul 2

Dalam modul ini kamu sudah belajar:

  • Lesson 1: High-stakes Negotiation: framing, leverage, dan trading antar isu: "Let me be candid…", "If you were to…, we'd be prepared to…", "Where does that leave us?".
  • Lesson 2: Diplomatic Disagreement: menolak dengan tegas namun sopan lewat pola acknowledge → soften → state: "I appreciate where you're coming from, but…", "With respect, I'd have to disagree".
  • Lesson 3: Mediating Conflict: menengahi pihak yang berselisih, deeskalasi, dan mengubah posisi menjadi kepentingan: "Let's find some common ground", "What I'm hearing is…".

Dialogue Gabungan

Perhatikan bagaimana ketiga keterampilan digabung dalam satu rapat kemitraan yang panas:

Rescuing a stalled partnership deal

Partner A (Lena)

Let me be candid with you: at these terms, the renewal simply isn't viable for us.

Partner B (Raj)

With respect, I'd have to disagree. We've already absorbed two price rises this year.

Mediator (Chen)

Let's take a step back. I can see why both sides are frustrated, and I think there's more common ground than it feels like.

Mediator (Chen)

What I'm hearing is that Lena needs margin certainty, and Raj needs price stability. Those aren't actually in conflict.

Partner A (Lena)

That's a valid point. If Raj were to commit to a three-year term, we'd be prepared to fix the price for the first eighteen months.

Partner B (Raj)

A locked price I can live with. I'm not entirely convinced about year three, though. Can we revisit it then?

Mediator (Chen)

So we've found common ground. Three-year term, fixed price for eighteen months, a review clause for year three. Where does that leave us?

Partner A (Lena)

That moves the needle. I think we have the shape of a deal.
