Penjelasan (ID)

Mengumumkan perubahan organisasi-reorganisasi, pergantian strategi, perubahan kebijakan-adalah salah satu momen komunikasi paling sensitif bagi seorang pemimpin. Pada level Advanced, tujuannya bukan sekadar menyampaikan informasi, melainkan membangun kepercayaan sambil tetap memegang kendali atas pesan. Register yang dipakai harus otoritatif namun tenang, jujur namun penuh empati.

Ada empat gerakan retoris (rhetorical moves) yang membentuk pengumuman perubahan yang baik:

Beberapa prinsip bahasa pada level ini:

  • Buka dengan transparansi, bukan dengan kabar buruk. Frasa "I want to be transparent / candid with you" memberi sinyal niat baik sebelum isi disampaikan.
  • Jelaskan rasional sebelum keputusan. Urutan sebab → keputusan terdengar jauh lebih kredibel daripada keputusan → pembelaan.
  • Akui, lalu pivot-jangan membantah. Pola "I recognise that..., and that's precisely why..." mengakui emosi tanpa membuat Anda defensif.
  • Gunakan nominalisasi formal seperti the restructuring, the rollout, the transition untuk menjaga nada objektif dan profesional.

💡 Hindari eufemisme yang terlalu kabur seperti "synergising our footprint". Di tingkat lanjut, kejelasan justru menandakan kepercayaan diri; bahasa korporat yang berbelit-belit malah merusak kredibilitas.
