Handling Objections
Di akhir lesson ini, kamu bisa:
- Mengakui keberatan dengan empati sebelum merespons.
- Membingkai ulang (reframe) keberatan menggunakan 'however' dan 'but consider...'.
- Mengubah keberatan menjadi peluang atau keuntungan.
Penjelasan (ID)
Keberatan (objection) bukan akhir percakapan: justru tanda lawan bicara sedang mempertimbangkan usulanmu. Kunci profesional: akui dulu, baru bingkai ulang. Jangan langsung menyanggah, karena itu membuat orang bertahan.
Pola tiga langkah: Acknowledge → Pivot → Reframe
| Langkah | Tujuan | Contoh frasa |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Acknowledge | Tunjukkan kamu mendengar | I understand your concern... / That's a fair point... |
| 2. Pivot | Beralih dengan halus | ...however, / ...but consider... |
| 3. Reframe | Ubah jadi sudut positif | Actually, that's exactly why... / On the contrary,... |
Mengubah keberatan menjadi peluang. Sering kali keberatan justru bisa dibalik menjadi alasan untuk setuju:
Keberatan: "It's too expensive." Reframe: "I understand your concern; however, that cost is exactly what guarantees the quality your clients expect."
Tip: Hindari kata "but" yang langsung menyusul pujian, karena terdengar menghapus pengakuanmu. However dan that said terdengar lebih matang dan sopan di register profesional. Selalu tutup dengan solusi win-win.
Examples (English)
"I understand your concern about the timeline. However, a phased rollout actually reduces the risk."
"That's a fair point, but consider how much we'd save in support costs over a year."
"You're worried it's too complex? Actually, that's exactly why we include full training."
"Expensive? On the contrary: when you factor in the time saved, it pays for itself in three months."

Dialogue
Responding to a client's objections
So that's our proposal. What are your thoughts?
Honestly, the price is higher than we budgeted.
I understand your concern about the cost. However, this package removes the need for a separate maintenance contract.
That's a fair point. But the setup also looks complicated.
Actually, that's exactly why we include a dedicated onboarding specialist for the first month.
I see. So the higher price covers more than I thought.
Exactly. I'm confident we can make this a win-win.
