Structuring a Presentation
Di akhir lesson ini, kamu bisa:
- Membuka presentasi dengan sapaan dan menyatakan topik.
- Menyatakan tujuan dan membagi isi menjadi beberapa bagian.
- Menutup presentasi dan mempersilakan pertanyaan di akhir.
Penjelasan (ID)
Presentasi yang baik selalu punya tiga bagian: pembukaan (introduction), isi (main body), dan penutup (conclusion). Di awal, beri tahu hadirin apa yang akan kamu bahas dan bagaimana strukturnya, supaya mereka mudah mengikuti.
1. Membuka & menyapa hadirin:
Good morning everyone, today I'll talk about our new marketing plan.
2. Menyatakan tujuan (purpose):
The purpose of my presentation is to explain the results of last quarter.
3. Membagi isi menjadi beberapa bagian:
I've divided my talk into three parts.
Perhatikan present perfect (I've divided): hasil pembagiannya sudah siap sebelum kamu mulai bicara.
4. Mengatur pertanyaan:
I'll take questions at the end, so please hold your questions for now.

Tip: Sebut jumlah bagian (three parts) di awal. Hadirin akan merasa presentasimu rapi dan mudah diikuti.
