Making Recommendations
Di akhir lesson ini, kamu bisa:
- Memberi rekomendasi dengan 'I'd recommend ...' dan 'You should ...'.
- Menyarankan tindakan dengan 'It's worth + -ing' dan 'Why don't we ...?'.
- Memberi saran sopan dengan 'If I were you, I'd ...'.
Penjelasan (ID)
Di rapat dan email kerja, kita sering perlu memberi saran dengan sopan dan jelas. Berikut lima pola yang paling berguna, dari yang netral sampai yang lebih hati-hati.

Catatan penting tiap pola:
- I'd recommend = I would recommend. Diikuti -ing (recommend using) atau kata benda (recommend this vendor). Bisa juga: I'd recommend that you ...
- You should + kata kerja dasar (tanpa to): "You should review it." Untuk saran kuat: You really should ...
- It's worth + -ing = "sepadan/ada baiknya melakukan ...": "It's worth comparing prices first."
- Why don't we ...? = ajakan/saran yang melibatkan tim. Selalu pakai tanda tanya.
- If I were you, I'd ... = saran personal yang sopan (second conditional). Perhatikan: pakai were (bukan was) untuk semua subjek.
Tip: Mulai dengan kata pelembut seperti Maybe, Perhaps, atau I think agar terdengar lebih halus: "Perhaps we should wait."
