Talking About Goals
Di akhir lesson ini, kamu bisa:
- Menyatakan tujuan tim dengan 'Our goal is to...' dan 'The objective is to...'.
- Menggunakan 'aim to', 'plan to', dan 'intend to' untuk menjelaskan niat kerja.
- Menetapkan target yang terukur dengan angka dan tenggat waktu.
Penjelasan (ID)
Di rapat dan presentasi kerja, kamu sering perlu menyatakan tujuan tim. Bahasa Inggris punya pola yang rapi dan profesional untuk ini. Hampir semuanya diikuti to + verb (to-infinitive).
Pola utama:

Perhatikan polanya: semua diikuti to + kata kerja dasar. aim to launch, plan to open, intend to enter. Jangan tulis "aim to launching" atau "plan opening".
Buat target yang terukur (SMART). Target kerja yang baik biasanya punya angka dan tenggat waktu:
- Our goal is to increase revenue by 20% by the end of the year.
- We aim to reduce response time to under 2 hours.
Kata kerja sasaran yang sering dipakai: increase (meningkatkan), reduce / cut (mengurangi), improve (memperbaiki), expand (memperluas), achieve (mencapai), reach (menjangkau).
