Giving Opinions & Agreeing
Di akhir lesson ini, kamu bisa:
- Menyampaikan pendapat dengan frasa yang sopan dan jelas.
- Menyatakan persetujuan dengan berbagai tingkat antusiasme.
- Menolak atau berbeda pendapat secara sopan tanpa menyinggung.
Penjelasan (ID)
Dalam diskusi kerja kamu sering perlu menyampaikan pendapat, menyetujui orang lain, atau menolaknya dengan sopan. Kuncinya: gunakan frasa baku agar terdengar profesional, bukan kasar.
1. Memberi pendapat. Mulai kalimat dengan penanda pendapat:

Tip: Setelah I think we should gunakan kata kerja dasar: I think we should wait. Hindari should to wait atau should waiting.
2. Menyetujui. Pilih sesuai seberapa kuat persetujuanmu:
- You're right. (setuju biasa)
- I completely agree. (setuju penuh)
- Good point. / That's a good point. (mengakui ide bagus)
- Exactly! / Absolutely. (setuju kuat)
3. Menolak dengan sopan. Jangan langsung berkata No, you're wrong. Mulai dengan mengakui pendapat lawan, lalu sampaikan keberatanmu:
- I see your point, but... I think it's too expensive.
- I'm not so sure about that. We tried it last year.
- I'm afraid I don't quite agree.
- That's true, however, we don't have the budget.
Catatan: Pola sopan = akui dulu (I see your point) lalu but/however + alasanmu. Ini menjaga suasana tetap baik.
